Slaby runs most of the plumbing for you. In practice there is exactly one thing you connect yourself — a payment gateway, so buyers' money lands in your own account.

Everything below says what the tool does and what, if anything, you need to do about it.

Payments

  • Razorpay (you connect it) — Takes UPI, card, net-banking and wallet payments at checkout. Money settles into your own Razorpay account. What you do: Create a Razorpay account, paste two keys into Settings → Payments, add one webhook.
  • Cashfree Payments (you connect it) — The same job as Razorpay, through Cashfree instead. Choose one gateway per store. What you do: Create a Cashfree account, paste your App ID and Secret Key, pick Sandbox or Production, add one webhook.

Messaging & email

  • Resend (included, nothing to set up) — Delivers transactional email — order confirmations, status updates, invoices and account mail — from the platform. What you do: Nothing. Slaby runs this centrally so you do not have to verify a sending domain.
  • WhatsApp notifications (not live yet) — Order and approval updates over WhatsApp, which is where most Indian buyers actually read messages. What you do: Nothing yet. The messages are written and the ordering logic is live, but delivery to WhatsApp is not switched on — treat email as the channel that reaches buyers today.

Sign-in

  • Google Sign-In (included, nothing to set up) — Lets buyers and staff sign in with a Google account instead of creating another password. What you do: Nothing. It is available on every store.

Media & performance

  • Amazon S3 (included, nothing to set up) — Stores and serves your product photographs, logos and documents quickly and reliably. What you do: Nothing. Uploading an image in the admin is the whole workflow.
  • Cloudflare R2 (included, nothing to set up) — An alternative media store Slaby can run against, used the same way as S3. What you do: Nothing — a platform-level choice, invisible to your store.

  • Cloudflare R2 — official site

Security

  • Cloudflare Turnstile (included, nothing to set up) — Keeps bots out of sign-up, contact and access-request forms without making real people solve puzzles. What you do: Nothing. It protects every store automatically.
  • Upstash Redis (included, nothing to set up) — Rate-limits sensitive endpoints so a flood of requests cannot overwhelm your store or brute-force a login. What you do: Nothing.

Analytics

  • Google Analytics (included, nothing to set up) — Measures traffic on the Slaby marketing site. Your own store's sales, orders and buyer numbers are reported in your admin, not here. What you do: Nothing. Your store analytics are built in — open Analytics in your admin.

Common questions

Which integrations do I have to set up myself?
Only the payment gateway. You bring your own Razorpay or Cashfree account so payments settle directly to you. Everything else — email delivery, media hosting, sign-in, bot protection — is run by Slaby for every store with nothing for you to configure.
Do I need a developer to connect a payment gateway?
No. It means copying two keys from your gateway dashboard into your Slaby admin and adding one webhook URL. There is no code involved, and the step-by-step guides cover every screen.
Does Slaby charge commission on my sales?
No. Buyers pay directly into your own gateway account and the gateway settles to your bank. Slaby never holds your money. You pay your gateway's fees and your Slaby subscription, nothing else.
